The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program

The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) allows Newfoundland and Labrador to nominate qualified applicants, offering:

  • Faster immigration for qualified skilled workers and international graduates who want to permanently live and work in Newfoundland and Labrador.
  • Provincial program officers who will clarify the program’s requirements and processes for applicants.

Applicants may apply under one of the following categories:

Express Entry Skilled Worker: These are skilled workers who have been accepted into Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s Express Entry pool, and have also received a job offer in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Skilled Worker: These are the people who have been guaranteed employment by a Newfoundland and Labrador employer, or already have a valid Work Permit and job in the province.

International Graduate: These are the new graduates who have a Post-Graduate Work Permit and a job or job offer from an employer in Newfoundland and Labrador.
