How Do You Apply For Express Entry?
1-Create a Profile
You can apply for residency across 347 occupations. Some of these occupations include skilled trades, technology, science and engineering. You will also need to meet a minimum criteria and you need to submit an expression of interest in the Entry Pool. Some qualifications include work experience, language proficiencies and age. The individuals who apply to the entry pool are measured by their ranking and this is varied depending on their human capital and what they can contribute to Canada. If you don’t have a job offer then you will also need to submit an employment profile with the Canadian Job Bank.
2- Get Your Invitation for Permanent Residency
If you are a Canadian employer who cannot access Canadians for Hire then you may be asked to give a job offer to a candidate in the entry pool. If you have a job offer in the pool then you will be given the highest rank. If you do not have a job offer then you may still be considered for permanent residency via an invitation. If you do receive an invitation then you need to make sure that you submit the full application within 60 days. If you are successful in this then any dependants will be processed within 6 months- if you do not receive an invitation however then you will remain in the entry pool for 12 months. After this, you will need to re-submit your profile. If you want to increase your chance of success then you need to make sure that you meet all of the criteria with maximum efficiency.

1-Candidates
Candidates who do meet the minimum entry criteria will need to express interest if they want to acquire permanent residency. This can be done by entering the Entry Pool and their profile, qualifications and age will all be documented here. If you are an approved employer then you will most likely be invited to hire whichever pre-screened candidate you choose. This is only applicable when no Canadians are available. When you do hire a candidate they will receive an invitation from the Federal Government and this will grant them permanent residency in the area. It should be noted that invitations are given out at set times throughout the year.
When the candidate has received an invitation they will need to fill it out within 60 days. The profiles will remain in the pool for 12 months and if the candidate is successful then they will have any dependants processed in 6 months.
